Amber van VugtAmber van Vugt has been employed with Lemstra Van der Korst since September 2017. She is specialized in dispute resolution in the field of corporate law and financial law.
In May 2017 Amber obtained her LL.M. degree ‘Law, Markets and Behavior’ at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and at the University of Amsterdam, while in September 2017 she also obtained her master in ‘Private Law’ at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, specializing in corporate law and mediation. Her doctoral theses described the enforceability of mediation clauses in international contracts and the statutory cooling-off period in takeovers.
Prior to that, Amber completed her honours bachelor in Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. While doing her bachelor, Amber spent a term reading law at the University of Leeds.
In addition to being a legal trainee Amber took part in the International Commercial Mediation Competition in Paris.
