Loes de VisserLoes de Visser is specialised in dispute resolution in the field of corporate law and insolvency law. She advises and litigates on matters involving commercial disputes, takeover and shareholder disputes, directors’ liability (both inside and outside bankruptcy). She also handles inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Division of the Court of Appeal of Amsterdam. Furthermore, she has a great deal of experience in advising on (the enforcement of) security rights.
Loes has been with Lemstra Van der Korst since May 2019. Before that, she worked for more than four years at Clifford Chance, where she gained experience in both the litigation and transaction practice. In her final year at Clifford Chance, she focused on (cross-border) restructuring and bankruptcy.
In 2014 Loes obtained a master’s degree in private law (commercial law) at the University of Amsterdam, where she already completed a master’s degree in criminal law two years earlier. During her studies Loes worked as a clerk of the court with the Haarlem district court.
Loes is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association and the Young Insolvency Law Lawyers Association.
