Marjolein van Emst specializes in dispute resolution in matters of corporate and commercial law. She is an experienced litigator and advisor, working on issues involving commercial disputes, takeover and shareholder disputes, directors’ liability. She also advises on financial law disputes involving the duty of care observed by financial institutions.
Marjolein also has extensive experience in pre-and post-judgment enforcement proceedings, as well as handling inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Division of the Court of Appeal of Amsterdam.
Prior to joining Lemstra Van der Korst, she was a member of the corporate and commercial litigation team at Hoff Advocaten. She also clerked at the Maastricht district court.
Marjolein is a member of the Association of Corporate Litigation (‘Vereniging Corporate Litigation’), and the Dutch Association for Procedural Law.
