Basya Klinger is a litigation lawyer specialising in commercial litigation and mass claims. She advises and represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, liability cases and post-M&A matters. Basya also has experience in collective actions, including proceedings under the Dutch WAMCA regime, as well as other types of mass claims and mass settlements.
Prior to joining Lemstra Van der Korst, Basya worked as a dispute resolution lawyer at Freshfields in Amsterdam. She completed the Grotius Academy specialisation course in Corporate and Liability Law (Onderneming en Aansprakelijkheid) with distinction (cum laude).
Basya is a member of several professional associations, including the Dutch Association for Collective Action Lawyers (VVMA), the Dutch Association for Mass Claims and Collective Actions (VEMCA), and the Association of Corporate Litigation (VCL). She also publishes on topics within her field of expertise.
