Flip Wijers co-founded Lemstra Van der Korst in 2010.
He specializes in corporate, commercial and financial litigation as well as in class actions and has vast experience representing the interests of leading international corporations in complex inquiry proceedings and banking disputes.
As an expert in mass claims procedures and co-head of the firm’s class action practice, he litigates and advises on collective settlements (WCAM) and proceedings regarding collective action claims (WAMCA).
Prior to founding Lemstra Van der Korst, Flip practiced law at Boels Zanders, NautaDutilh and Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York.
Flip has written and lectured widely on corporate law, financial litigation and class action suits. He is a founding member of the Dutch Class Action Association (VVMA) as well as a member of the Association of Corporate Litigation (‘Vereniging Corporate Litigation’).
