Jaron van Bekkum specializes in representing and advising clients in disputes regarding corporate law. He has vast experience in dispute settlements concerning directors’ liability, corporate governance, professional liability as well as disputes involving the takeover of a company. Jaron assists many national as well as international clients in general commercial disputes.
Before joining Lemstra Van der Korst, Jaron was a member of the Corporate Litigation and Insolvency team at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, for which he also practiced in New York.
Jaron teaches and regularly publishes, both in the field of directors’ liability and corporate law. He is a member of the editorial board of the annual review of the Corporate Litigation Association (Geschriften vanwege de Vereniging Corporate Litigation). i He is a fellow at Radboud University Nijmegen and writes a PhD at the Free University Amsterdam on sustainability in corporate law.
