Marco Eliëns specializes in commercial litigation and international arbitration. He has vast experience representing a wide range of clients, including numerous listed companies and large multinational corporations in proceedings under the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA and NAI rules.
Marco frequently advises and litigates on behalf of clients in enforcement proceedings involving arbitral awards as well as court judgments. He acts as an arbitrator and works as a deputy judge at the Court of Appeal of Arnhem-Leeuwarden.
Before joining Lemstra Van der Korst, Marco was part of the dispute resolution team at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. In 2019, Marco was seconded to Tenor Capital, a litigation funder in New York.
Marco regularly publishes on arbitration, litigation funding, corporate law and financial reporting. Marco is both a member of the Advisory Board of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute and a member of the Dutch Arbitration Association’s Corporate Disputes Committee.
