Martijn Werker specializes in corporate and commercial litigation and focuses on representing clients in complex disputes before Dutch courts.
As a dispute resolution expert, he advises and litigates on behalf of companies, their directors, and shareholders in matters concerning (inter alia) corporate governance, contractual disputes, and financial restructurings.
Before joining Lemstra Van der Korst in 2025, Martijn was part of the loan finance team at NautaDutilh in Amsterdam and New York, where he specialized in cross-border (leveraged) finance, and (financial) restructuring transactions.
He has vast experience in representing financial institutions and investors on matters relating to complex financing structures and distressed debt scenarios.
Martijn holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Amsterdam and also holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Groningen.
