Max Hijnen specializes in corporate and commercial litigation and mass claims. He has vast experience representing clients in proceedings before civil court, including the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.
As a dispute resolution expert, he advises and litigates on behalf of companies, organizations and shareholders in a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes concerning commercial contracts and directors’ and supervisors’ liability. He also advises and litigates on collective settlements (WCAM) and proceedings regarding collective action claims (WAMCA) and follow-on damages litigation.
Before joining Lemstra Van der Korst, Max was part of the litigation and finance teams at Loyens & Loeff.
Max is a member of the Association of Corporate Litigation (‘Vereniging Corporate Litigation’).
