Pierre Gooren specializes in corporate and commercial litigation and in mass claims.
As a dispute resolution expert, he advises and litigates on behalf of companies, their directors and shareholders in a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes concerning commercial contracts and directors’ and supervisors’ liability. He also litigates and advises on collective settlements (WCAM) and proceedings regarding collective action claims (WAMCA) where he represents and defends the interest of the aggrieved parties within the class.
Before joining Lemstra Van der Korst, Pierre worked as a law assistant at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and taught seminars in the course Introduction to Civil Law at Leiden University.
Pierre holds a Master’s degree in Law from Leiden University (cum laude) and also completed the Honours Academy program at Leiden University.
